Delivery & Pick-Up Policy

Effective Date: 6 January, 2026

Style moves when logistics are in sync. This policy explains how deliveries and collections work, what to expect, and where responsibility begins and ends.

1. Fulfilment Partner & Delivery Handling

Estilo Phondeaux works with trusted suppliers, including Word of Mouth (Hyde Park), who handle delivery and pick-ups on our behalf.

While Word of Mouth manages physical logistics and cash collection, Estilo Phondeaux remains your point of contact for order communication, support, and after-sales assistance.

2. Delivery Areas

Delivery is available in and around Johannesburg, including but not limited to:

  • Hyde Park

  • Sandton

  • Randburg

  • Rosebank

  • Tembisa

  • Ivory Park

⚠️ Eldorado Park is excluded for safety reasons.

Delivery outside these areas is not guaranteed and will only be considered if explicitly confirmed in advance.

3. Delivery Days & Scheduling

Standard delivery days are:

  • Wednesdays

  • Fridays

Occasionally, deliveries may occur between Tuesday and Saturday, depending on order volume and routing. These cases are not guaranteed and are communicated when applicable.

Delivery timing is managed by Word of Mouth as part of their delivery route. Exact time slots are not guaranteed.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Most orders are fulfilled via cash on delivery.

Customers must have the full confirmed amount in cash available at the time of delivery.

If a customer:

  • Refuses to pay on delivery, or

  • Claims they do not have cash available

This is treated as a COD refusal.

COD refusal policy:

  • First refusal → warning issued

  • Second refusal → customer is blacklisted from future Estilo Phondeaux orders

Pre-arranged delivery timing is only honoured if communicated before 08:00 on the delivery day.

5. Delivery Attempts & Missed Deliveries

  • The delivery driver will contact the customer on the day of delivery.

  • If the customer is unavailable or unreachable, the delivery may be marked as unsuccessful.

Repeated missed deliveries or refusals may result in future order restrictions.

6. Pick-Up Option (Hyde Park)

Customers may choose to collect their order from Word of Mouth in Hyde Park instead of delivery.

Pick-ups are available only on Wednesdays and Fridays.

No address is required for pick-ups, but the customer must confirm:

  • Full name

  • Contact number

  • Pick-up intent

7. Missed Pick-Ups

If a customer misses their pick-up day:

  • The item is held once until the next available pick-up day

  • If the second pick-up is missed, the item is released back into stock

Word of Mouth notifies Estilo Phondeaux during their end-of-day updates.

8. Stock Lock-In

Once:

  • An order is confirmed, and

  • Delivery or pick-up is scheduled

The item is considered locked in and reserved specifically for that customer.

Failure to complete delivery or pick-up after lock-in may affect the customer’s ability to place future orders.

9. Communication Responsibility

Word of Mouth follows their own multi-step confirmation process, which may include:

  • WhatsApp messages

  • Landline calls

  • Mobile calls

  • SMS follow-ups

Estilo Phondeaux receives delivery confirmations after completion, usually on the next business day.

10. Important Notes

  • No holds without confirmed payment or COD approval

  • No “try-on” deliveries

  • One order = confirmed items only

Delivery is part of the experience — meet it with readiness.

11. Final Note

Orders move on rhythm, clarity, and commitment.
When the details are clear and the terms are respected, the experience stays smooth — for you, for us, and for the delivery team.
