Sticky
Compilations from a Don
We all have different ways of showing love.
Some people gift words, others offer time. But my brother Mocha? He sent a playlist.
It wasn’t the first time he shared something beautiful, but this one — Sticky — was different. I don’t remember the exact conversation. I just remember the intent behind it: “This one is for stimulation. The sultry kind. Let it set the mood for the motion.” I took that and lived with it. Sometimes literally.
There’s a particular memory that always rises with the first few tracks. A night dimmed in gold and grown folk tension. One of the Smoking Flames, caught off guard by the vibe. The sound, the scent, the setting — everything spoke. And she did too, later on… even to her sister. Proudly. Sticky made an impression. I won’t lie — I let her believe it was mine. In a way, it was.
Mocha curated the soundtrack. I curated the experience.
Years later, I laugh with him about it. About how Sticky came through when YouTube couldn’t quite match the mood. About how I haven’t received a playlist from him in a while. Life’s scattered us on different paths, but that one playlist remains a thread between us. I still reference it. Still use it. Still feel it.
Some moments are fleeting. Others leave residue.
To Mocha — thank you. For the warmth, the rhythm, the language we never had to speak out loud. For the sticky glue that held moments together when words couldn’t. I’m still waiting on The Gift to the Present, but until then… here’s your magic shared with the world.
Sticky.

Sticky
Sticky is magnetic. This playlist isn’t just curated — it’s crafted, designed to slide under your skin and stay there. A sonic moodboard for sensual encounters and sticky situations, it lingers like breath on your neck. Each track pulses with intention, slow-burning stimulation, and rhythm that reads the body like poetry. Whether you’re winding down or winding into someone, this is the kind of sound that doesn’t just play in the room — it becomes the room.
Originally curated by Mocha Madlokovu and lived through by Don Phondeaux, Sticky exists at the intersection of intimacy and artistry. It’s proof that art can be a love language, and music can be a message. Shared in friendship, interpreted through experience, and now offered for your own story to unfold. This isn’t background music — it’s a backstory. Let it play as you write yours.
Featured Artists: Priddy Ugly, Mac Miller, KLY, The Internet, VanJess, Ayzee, BonafideBilli and more…
