Compilations from a Don

The tides are forever changing.

I’d be worried if they weren’t. High or low, I’ve always found ways to keep the wave flowing. I don’t remember every detail of the scene, but I do remember the feeling. Wavy Tides was born in a time when I was trying to steady myself — a time when silence carried a numbness that left me flat.

This was the same window that gave us Smoking Flames. Just like that compilation, Wavy Tides never got the airplay it deserved. With the sun back out, it’s time for this one to live out loud. A reminder to stay wavy through all tides of life.

The wave never died through the low tides. It kept moving, as waves should. Time may have made me colder, but the wave never froze. Maintaining motion through the ebbs and flows of life gets tough. Keeping balance requires core strength. This compilation is a reflection of that reminder — the calm comes from within.

The tides are slowly rising now. There’s no need to crash out, just catch the wave. Stay sound in every step. Let the lost steps add their own charm to the groove. Maintain motion all the way to mastery.

Enjoy loudly. Stay sound.

Wavy Tides

Wavy Tides is a reminder to flow with life’s changes — to rise, fall, and rise again with grace. Afrocentric sounds guide you through the balance between stillness and motion.

When the tides pull low, the wave doesn’t die. It keeps moving forward. This compilation is a call to stay wavy through every season, grounding yourself in rhythm when silence feels too heavy.

Featured Artists: SPINALL, Burna Boy, L.A.X, Skales, Becca, Sean Tizzle and more…
